WE ARE SEEKING AN INTERIM CHOIR DIRECTOR/ORGANIST. Responsibilities include playing for a traditional service at 11:00 each Sunday morning and directing an adult choir rehearsal at 7:15 each Wednesday night. GROWING THROUGH FELLOWSHIP: The Wednesday, September 25, meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the program for adults will begin at 6:15. Dr. Bess is facilitating a six-week study, “It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way,” by Lysa Terkeurst. Reservations for the 5:30 p.m. meal may be made on Sunday by completing a tan form found in the pew racks or by calling the church office by noon on Monday (534-0088). Menu: baked ham, green beans, macaroni and cheese, dessert, and tea. Cost is $5;  children under 10 eat free.

HAVE YOU SUNG CHORAL OR PRAISE MUSIC in the past and would love to use your talent again?  Join the Adult Choir and First Praise as we rehearse the glorious music we will present on Sunday, December 15.  Meet in the sanctuary each Wednesday after the GTF program to prepare to sing “A Classic and Modern Christmas.” 

LUNCH WITH THE PASTOR at The Oaks-Wednesday, October 2, 11:30 a.m.: To minimize the disruption of residents and guests and insure adequate seating arrangements, reservations must be confirmed by noon on Tuesday, October 1. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk in Woodard Commons.

THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER will be observed on World Communion Sunday, October 6, 2019.
